The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, today laid the foundation stone of the building of the costumes for the new area of sport for half a league from town, the first facility to be building the future of the Sports City complex.
This is a ground floor building that occupies an area of 563 square meters, whose operating budget amounts to EUR 469,546, of which the Autonomous Community of 417,999 eligible under the Plan of Works and Services of the Directorate General of Local Government, Institutional and External Relations.
The building will serve all the sports facilities to be built in the area of equipment.
Have two dressing rooms for teams, with each area of 42 square meters, and two dressing groups, with 60 square meters each.
We also have a fitness room, locker rooms for referees with three separate units, physiotherapy room, nursing, public toilets, service area and warehouse.
The building's design creates a cantilevered deck on the south facade that creates a common step.
The project also includes expansion of the locker room in a second annex building with which it shares the cover and including a cafeteria.
This new area of sports facilities in the municipality of Mazarrón will have a swimming pool, sports courts, soccer field, multi-space for different sports and green areas.
