Tonight closes CARLANTUM (05/03/2010)

Tonight at 21:30 am ending the Study Days on Mazarrón, CARLANTUM 2010.

Two weeks ago will be presentations by the likes of Rafael Arana, Jesus Bellon, Benjamin Rubio, Ignacio Nicolás, Juan Francisco Belmar and Pedro Egea, the latter who will end this year approaching Mazarrón contemporary mining between 1940 and 1950.

At these conferences, held in the auditorium of the Department of Culture, the speakers on the table their knowledge of mining in Mazarrón, as an individual, and mining, in general.

One hundred people have followed each of the presentations CARLANTUM 2010, which confirms, once again, the interest of Mazarron to approach history.

These meetings have benefited from a singularity as was the exhibition 'Roads Lead' by Antonio Paredes Navarro, who has housed his collection of old maps on mines of Mazarrón, dating from the first half of the twentieth century.

This shows people have been able to delve into unknown aspects of the history of the town of Mazarrón.

The Department of Culture of the City of Mazarrón is grateful for the participation in this program established which has exceeded initial expectations, approaching different population nuclei Mazarron.
