About fifty up the Christmas programming activities 2009, developed by the City of Mazarrón through the Councillors for Parties, Culture, Education, Support for Foreign Residents, Social Policy and Trade.
This morning the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, has made known to the media the details of this program for the days ahead that people will enjoy until Sunday, 10 December.
In a ceremony held at City Hall, where Francisco Blaya has invited all citizens to participate in events set for this Christmas.
A new feature this year is the celebration of the Order of the Magi, in which event the public will enjoy a performance outdoor Christmas from the Plaza del Convento to the Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
The keynote of these days will be concerts, a visit to Bethlehem, the theater, storytelling workshops and linked to the celebration of Christmas.
Events taking place in two stages like the Christmas Carp in Mazarrón, located in the Plaza del Convento, and the exhibition hall in the Marina.
Christmas carp, along with rides and attractions there will be, will be the epicenter of the activities for which will be open from 11:00 to 23:00 h.
and in which the Mazarron can taste typical local products.
The moment of choice for large and small will be the arrival of the Magi, which landed at the Fishing Port and tour the main streets of Puerto de Mazarrón with subsequent distribution of gifts to children.
Subsequently, their Majesties the Kings of the East come to Mazarrón stopping at the nursing home in Mazarrón, where their Majesties will deliver the gifts to the elderly, with subsequent Cavalcade from the main roads of the municipality.
The hamlet of Balsicas Mazarron also joins the celebration of Christmas and it will continue the preservation of their customs with various activities, including not miss the traditional appointment with the "braying."
