The 2009 Pilgrimage moves thousands of people (24/11/2009)

The Pilgrimage 2009 was highlighted by the large participation of more than 25,000 people have not hesitated to wrap up early to Our Lady of La Purisima, from the Shrine of the Immaculate to the beach Bolnuevo.

At seven in the morning a floral target woke the Mazarron to accompany the Virgin in one of the most successful day for the public.

The first stop took place at The Mulberry, where the keynote were the songs and praises of La Purisima, issued by the pilgrims who accompanied the image.

The next break, as usual, has been in the Desalination Virgen del Milagro, where they have rested and citizens have regained energy to reach Bolnuevo.

On the way the pilgrims have expressed their religious fervor to the Virgin singing and dancing to the music that marked the bands at an event in which both large and small have enjoyed intensely.

Throughout the day the sun has shone romera hard, offering more typical of summer temperatures fall to what has led to the broad participation of citizens.

Among the more than 25,000 people have attended this year's Pilgrimage were Mazarron, foreign residents and residents of other neighboring towns and the other Spanish regions.

The Town Council of Mazarron, through the Department of Party, welcomes the participation of citizens and visitors in one of the most massive acts of the municipality's holiday schedule.
