The largest of Mazarrón, about to complete the first year of Senior Day Center, continue to gouge the most of this social resource that specializes in care for those who have overcome the barrier of sixty years.
During the summer of 2009, the Day Centre offers a varied program ranging from gymnastics activities for seniors, dance, relaxation, library, periodicals, coffee chat, traditional games and irreplaceable calls for weekend with dance and family lottery up intergenerational activities as "ludonietos" or workshop experience, in addition to introductory courses in Internet and email.
Particularly pleasing was the response that the elders have given the approach of joint activity with their grandchildren called "ludonietos" which is a forum for communication between the two generations through visual expression and body language, being very comforting to that when you create appropriate scenarios, the elderly are involved with enthusiasm and confidence.
Up to a total of 400 older people are following these summer courses Municipal Center Senior Day Mazarrón for completion in early September and that continuum will give way to the registration period for the academic activities 2009 -2010 beginning on October 1st.
As evidence of greater interest to catch up on everything that happens, it is worth noting the existence of two courses of training in the use of the Internet and email, good test of one's mind that seniors have of themselves: they too are modern.
