The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General for Transport and Ports, will invest EUR 3,968,126 in the municipality.

This amount will go to upgrade and rehabilitate rides Francisco Martínez Muñoz and Rihuete.

The deadline for execution of these works, including a stretch of 1,200 meters in length, is nine months since its inception.

The main objectives of these activities are: to facilitate access to the waterfront, embellishing the coastline of the coastal urban areas, as well as rescuing public spaces to enhance the use and enjoyment.

The renovation of two separate trips could be completed by the summer of 2010.
