Students focus on the 'Encounters with professionals' (25/03/2009)

This morning was held the first 'Meeting Professional', set in the pioneer project Di-What to promote the diversification and Skills in the Secondary School Teacher Antonio Hellín with the assistance of over one hundred students in fourth ESO

This program is organized entirely by the Department of Employment and Training Mazarrón City Council through the Local Employment Center for Women and Youth.

The public meeting, chaired by Councillor Training and Employment, Miguel Ballesta, has revolved around a round table that has involved the Training Director of the Regional Federation of Employers of the Metal of Murcia, Ramón Muñoz Gomez, Financial Advisor Caja Murcia, Julio Blas María Dolores, the Director of the Center for Agricultural Training and Experience Torre Pacheco, Placido Varó, and the Director of National Centre for Vocational Training of Cartagena, Ramon Romero González.

Speakers with a long career have provided young people comprehensive information about occupations within the sector, future prospects, training required, forms of access to employment and working conditions, among other issues related to the subject.

These meetings are born to promote the professional qualification as a prerequisite of economic and social development of the municipality and to promote diversified choice of professions and involve various social and economic aspects of the town in improving the professional skills of the population , especially youth and women.

The next meetings with professionals will be held on April 22 and May 6 at the Secondary School Philip II and 29 April, again in the Secondary School Teacher Antonio Hellin.
