The Councillor for the Environment, Juana Maria Morales, along with the National President of the Abraham Foundation, Rafael Sanchez, presented this morning the new collection service clothing, footwear and toys by seven containers, distributed at strategic points in the municipality.
In Mazarrón are located in Market Square, the Sports Pavilion the mill, the Public School and The Garden Aceña Miguel Angel Blanco and Puerto de Mazarron are located in Market Square, the Public School and opposite Manuela Romero the Office of Tourism.
With this initiative, undertaken between the Department of Environment and the Association of the City Project Abraham, sought the cooperation of all citizens, who must deposit the shoes, clothing and / or toys in bags for easy collection and subsequent selection.
This recycling promotes public awareness in respect to the environment and creating jobs for people excluded or at risk of social exclusion through the Partnership Project Abraham has over 24 years working for this cause.
Currently, the agency has five centers for these minority groups.
Mazarrón this action adds the support of the Asociación Proyecto Abraham both the introduction of containers of clothing, footwear and toys as the dissemination of aims and objectives of it.
The campaign "For you separate them, I recycle" will also reach the youth through information sessions taking place in schools in the municipality.
