The Town Council of Mazarron, through the Department of Rural Development, launched last November, the refurbishment work on the Camino de Los Vaqueros, located in the village of Cañada de Gallego Mazarron.

Councillor for Rural Development, Luisa María Heredia, together with the Autonomous Community technical and project manager, oversaw the status of these works that will make a better connection between the citizens and visitors of Cañada de Gallego.

Adaptation works on this stretch of road, about two and a half kilometers long, including the paving of the entire surface and the arrangement of the galleries of the firm, promote transit improvements that the citizens of the village of Cañada de Gallego .

This project was financed entirely by the Department of Irrigation and Rural Development of the Autonomous Community of Murcia for an amount of 82,500 euro budget, responding to a complaint from neighbors of Cañada de Gallego to the Rural Development Department of the City de Mazarrón.
