The cross phase, part of the School Sports 2008/2009, has had the participation of 520 children from various schools in the municipality.

This test, which was held recently in the vicinity of the beach of the island, has raised a major expectation among students surpassing the number of participants over the previous year.

After the test, the mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, and the Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, handed over the trophies to the most outstanding athletes in this test.
