Football Championship 7 Salvador Ortiz starts today with 19 teams registered (16/06/2008)

Tonight at 21:00 pm Football Championship begins 7 Salvador Ortiz with a match between BH Construction Rheta and Playasol Stadium.

Championship Football 7 is a pioneer in the city tournament, which begins as a tribute to Mazarron Salvador Ortiz, who was keeper of the bases of Mazarrón Club de Fútbol and showed great passion for the sport.

This tournament, which will last about a month, is divided into three groups: two groups of six teams and one of seven teams.

Games will be held from Monday to Friday from 21:00 to 22:00 and Saturday from 19:00 to 20:00 in Playasol Stadium and Estadio Municipal de Mazarrón, on turf.

The top four finishers will receive trophies, the first and the second receiving 1,000 euros and 500 euros respectively.

The top scorer and player goalkeeping record will also be awarded with trophies.

This Friday was held on Football Championship Draw 7 Memorial Salvador Ortiz with great success of participation, which have enrolled a total of 19 teams from across the municipality.

The Councillor for Sports, Francisco Antonio Raja, has been set up to oversee this effort.

The City Council through the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón applauds the overwhelming response has been the inclusion of this championship and bodes well for its development.
