The preventive activity is organized in collaboration with midwives of health centers Mazarrón and Puerto.

The Center for Child Development and Early (CDIAT) Mazarrón Care provides, within its program of preventive activities, a new Infant Massage Workshop.

The next session will take place on Friday, November 20, at 11:30 am, in a living center facilities located in the Virgin of Fatima Street, in the neighborhood of La Canada de Mazarrón.

The workshop is intended for all infants up to 6 months and their mothers, with the sole objective of making their fingertips knowledge of working techniques and instruments that would achieve the greatest possible comfort, strengthen the emotional bond between parents and children, birth ease tensions and prevent ailments like colic.

The activity is organized in collaboration with midwives of health centers and Puerto de Mazarrón and is supervised by a physiotherapist from the center.

Talks and Detection Programs Psychomotor Difficulties

During the month of October, the Center for Child Development and Early Intervention (CDIAT) of Mazarrón and midwives of health centers in the municipality have held the first talks on "Stimulating Quality", aimed at moms.

They have been taught by those skilled in early care and the physiotherapist of the center.

In addition, elementary and primary schools in the municipality have benefited from the Program for Prevention and Detection Difficulties Psychomotor that launches each year, the CDIAT of Mazarrón.

Programs for the detection of cross laterality (child 5 years), psychomotor difficulties (children 3 and 4 years), bad habits in the use of writing utensils or sitting position (children 4 and 5 years ), detection of attention difficulties and hyperactivity (children of 3, 4 and 5), visual-perceptual difficulties (child 5 years) and early detection of autistic disorder and other pervasive developmental disorders (From 15 to 36 months) .

The development of such programs is taken jointly by the CDIAT and schools, throughout the entire course.
