The Museum of Mazarrón "Roman Factory Salt" has returned to celebrate the International Museum Day in the city involving this time to schools.
With the theme "Museums for a sustainable society," its leaders have given lectures in different schools and then learn firsthand the value they bring archaeological sites that exist in the municipality.
These school activities were developed during the days 11, 12, 13 and 14 May.
The project carried out intended, according to its organizers, "transmit values â€‹â€‹of care and conservation."
Under the title "Learning to care Nature and Heritage", students and teachers were guided by some visitable sites and monuments such as the Roman set of El Alamillo Mazarrón and churches, in addition to a scheduled visit to the town hall.
Also, a section of Nature trying Environmental care and knowledge of plant species in the municipal environment, energy conservation and the use of resources like water was dedicated.
This activity was counted on the collaboration of the Association of Environmental Study and Leisure (ALCEDO) linked to the Department of Environment.
