The mayor, Francisco Garcia and the Councillor for Social Policy, Maria Martinez, signed by representatives of five charities of the town's annual collaboration agreement which allows the provision of various social services in the various populations of the local geography.
The beneficiary associations with a total value of 32,000 euros are: Caritas Mazarrón, Caritas Puerto de Mazarrón, New Direction, Aspadem and Making a Diference, which Pensioners Club adds.
Both New Direction and Making a Diference and Caritas allocated the amount received in covering the needs presented families with fewer resources of the municipality.
Help which is usually translated in food and paying bills.
Aspadem invest their endowment contribution to the costs of maintaining the heated pool La Canada, a plant often used by children attending the Early Intervention Service.
And for Pensioners Club, the allocation will affect the various cultural activities organized by the club throughout the year.
By 2015 the municipal allocation has increased by over 30%.
