The cycle of female leadership hosts a roundtable on the figure of women in literature and academia (15/12/2014)

The cycle of Women's Leadership held since last October in Mazarrón hosts on Thursday December 18 a roundtable on "Woman figure in literature and academia".

The meeting will take place at the Cultural Center of the town at 20.00 and will be attended by professor and expert in literature, Aurora Gil Bohorquez, poet and writer Soren Peñalver and Research Coordinator of Vice President for Research, University Murcia, Emma Martínez López.

The debate will be moderated by journalist and writer Lola Grace.

The table will try to do a review of the woman figure in the literary and academic fields from antiquity to the present day and reflect on women big names from the world of science in various fields of knowledge as well as its future prospects.

The cycle Women's Leadership held until next April in the coastal town of Mazarron and consists of six lectures and six round tables, the first of which takes place next Thursday.

So far this cycle has been visited by expert eroticism and sex, Valérie Tasso and in the coming months with the participation of other women from different walks of society, such as Nativel Preciado (Journalist), Elizabeth Trallero (CEO of congost Plastics) or sociologist Alicia Kauffman.

The roundtables have different themes that aim to analyze the role of women in business at local and global levels, communication and politics, among others.

The series, organized by the Culture Department of the City of Mazarrón aims to show a plurality of voices and concerns currently living in the area of ​​women and their positive influence on society.
