Bolnuevo beaches, Playa Grande and Alamillo Saturday hosted the Tenth National Open of Fishing Bay of Mazarron, the most important competition of this kind in terms of number of participants.
In total 116 fishermen competed from 18 hours to 22 hours, this time challenging the rain that fell at intervals during the test.
Rafael Solis Pescasurf Murcia won the Open.
Mary Coy Santa Lucia and Miguel Ángel Llamas Pescasurf also took second and third place in a competition in which emphasized catches herreras, bass, bluefish oblate and a great weight among different species.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, the awards ceremony presided by the Councillor for Sports, Andrew James and council of Celebration, Isidro Coy and Rural Development, Magdalena Mendez.
The X National Open of Fishing Bay of Mazarron ended with a barbecue held on the beach of Rihuete.
