From 9:30 am on Saturday October 11 groups depart by divers who have registered to participate in the conference.

They will from the marina of Puerto de Mazarrón.

Logistics work is carried out Bachisub dive centers and Spain in collaboration with the City of Mazarrón.

The dives will be made at points where currents tend to accumulate junk.

They will focus mainly on the breakwaters of the harbor and yacht club.

The presentation of this conference has been made by the Councillor for Culture, Ginés Campillo, who highlighted the educational work that has this project and the commitment of the council to implement it year after year.

The heads of the two partners dive centers have meanwhile highlighted the importance of correcting certain behaviors that later have their impact on the marine environment.

Plastic is the biggest polluter in the sea but there are other elements such as lead used in fishing that tends to be also very harmful to the body of species.

However, 80% of products that pollute the marine environment from land are swept by watercourses, rivers and tributaries.

At XX Days Cleaning Mazarrón Bay Seabed divers come from different regions of Spain as every year have registered to participate in this project.
