The initiative that assists the Department of Trade of the City of Mazarrón aims to help small and medium traders in the town offering a stall in a thoroughfare during the long weekend of August, one of the dates selling the year.
During the first edition of this event held last year participating merchants came to raise 30 billion euros, as confirmed Francisca Madrid, president of Acoma, the Merchants Association of Mazarrón and Shire.
From 13 to 17 August, from seven in the scheduled ten stores offer their items with discounts in some cases 70% compared to the shop price.
Since Easter, Acoma fair organized another outlet with which this is the third in less than a year.

Francisca Madrid acknowledges the support received from the Department of Commerce to push through "an initiative which is an aid in a difficult time like the present."
To David Fernandez, Councillor of Commerce, it is an activity "Today's commercial initiative of the municipality that covers a very important part of the economic fabric of Mazarrón, which is holding up very well generating the crisis even jobs."
Fernández has advanced to the next street vending ordinance, which traders will define the landscape of this type of activity that encompasses the services sector.
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, highlights the date when the fair is celebrated outlet and expects "the large concentration of citizens visiting Puerto de Mazarrón substantial impact on benefits for small businesses that are the municipality."
