For the second consecutive year after the success of the previous edition Caritas and the council of Celebration Hall of Mazarrón again organize a solidarity lanterns launched from the Port Beach, close to Paseo Autonomous Communities.
Also this year the number of lanterns from 500 to a thousand and its price is four euros, as highlighted Conchi Aparicio, spokesman for Caritas in Mazarrón doubles.
To Aparicio "is a chain of generosity whose profits are used by the organization to address the needs of disadvantaged people."
Caritas assists per month to 120 people in our town, of which more than 50 are under eight.
As has confirmed Aparicio, such activities serve to get to where you can not get the donations, as there are food products need not usually cover these grants.
The spokesperson of Caritas in Mazarrón Caritas also recalled that not only helps in dress and food, but also in the purchase of medicines.
Together with Caritas members in filing activity also wanted to be present mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Garcia, who has appealed to anyone who can work with people who are suffering.
Garcia noted that "events like this come in handy in difficult times like these."
Meanwhile, Councilman Celebration, Isidro Coy, wanted to show their support for this organization that initiated this project last year.
Coy also called for the collaboration of all mazarrones and visitors to this cause.
