Mazarron hosts this Sunday May 11, the IX Regional Day Walker has been organized by the hiking club 'Friends of Nature' in collaboration with the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón and Mountaineering Federation Murcia (FMRM).
The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, FMRM Vice President, Salvador English, and vice president of that club walker, Rafael Peral were responsible for introducing this appointment.
As Rafael Peral said, "appointment will begin at 8 am with the concentration of walkers on the esplanade of Erosions Bolnuevo. From there, the two routes are scheduled to be launched after a delicious chocolate that invite the local board of Mazarrón of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC). therefore this association will donate one euro for each participant who registers for sharing with us this day, "said Peral.
The first route to be performed will take participants to walk the boulevard of mulberry trees, the Cueva del Plomo, saw the mulberry and return to the starting point by Bolnuevo coves.
The same, of medium difficulty, consists of 15 kilometers and will include solid and liquid refreshment.
The other route, 5 kilometers, medium difficulty and designed especially for children;
will take walkers to the lagoons of mulberry trees, some important wetlands included in the Natura 2000 network.
Meanwhile, Salvador English congratulated "the hiker club 'Friends of Nature' for organizing the appointment this year for the enjoyment of hikers in the Region of Murcia. Though always support them from the Federation, the clubs are the carry the weight for the sole purpose and satisfaction of doing something for your city. Federated Participants will pay 12 euros and 6 euros if they are children, while adults pay no federal 15 euros and 8.50 euros for children.
