This past Monday, 5 May was held the inauguration of the library CEIP 'Manuela Romero' Puerto de Mazarrón, ceremony attended by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the Councillor for Education, Mary Celeste Soria .
Students from 6th Primary and faculty and AMPA with the center, attended the inauguration during which the school actively participated.
Specifically, l @ s alumn @ s of the two classes of that course read an essay in which they explained the mayor and the mayor of Education the importance of reading and its satisfaction to have a library in your own school.
Also, the school conducted various questions to the Mayor of Mazarrón what books he read as a child, her favorite books and author, how was your first day in a library, the last book you read or read every day.
At this event, the Department of Education provided the two batches of new library books that were delivered to the center's director, Maria Teresa Donato, by Ginés Campillo and Maria Celeste Soria.
