The IES "Antonio Hellin" celebrates his big day together (09/04/2014)

Today they have completed the IES 'Antonio Costa Hellin' the eighth edition of the Days of Living the center with the conclusion of a busy day.

Councillor for Education, Maria Celeste Soria, has come to said institute to see first hand the different proposals that students have prepared for this day that interest in other cultures and respect to multiculturalism imposed.

Of all the initiatives, has especially highlighted the charity market which has held the cooperative 'Sea Drops' you will do with all proceeds to the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC).

In this line, it has also entered the 'Mickie Project' aimed at women affected by breast cancer.

The students have made a heart to be donated to the center of attention of people affected by this disease, providing the school a percentage of the cost of the pad.

Have also drawn much attention two thematic classrooms have recreated a 'Haima' desert and flamenco show.

In the first, various school dressed in Arab robes have distributed sweets and traditional mint tea that have delighted their peers.

In the other, the young are starting bulerías and have sounded their guitars while these tasted michirones, gypsy pot and other traditional dishes of Spanish cuisine.

But were not the only spaces dedicated to gastronomy as to start the day, the students have been enjoying the 'International Breakfast' consisting of typical foods of the Mediterranean cuisine, Spanish, French and English as bread toast with tomato and prosciutto , pancakes and chocolate that has been made by the AMPA of that institute, among others.

Workshops plates, makeup, African braids and various performances completed a day in which participated also the largest in the Social Center of Puerto de Mazarrón.

The Department of Education has sought to contribute their bit these days with two activities.
