On Friday February 21, took place in the hall of the Cultural Center awards and diplomas I Contest 'Almazjoven 2013'.

The delivery was made by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, Councillor for Youth, Andrew James, and aldermen Mary Celeste Soria and Isidro Coy.

All young people who attended the event received a diploma for their participation thereupon discovered at 3 winners in each category received gift vouchers of 300, 200 and 100 euros, redeemable at various local Mazarrón.

Councilman Young recalled that the purpose of this contest "is to foster artistic creativity among our youth and to inform the general public diversity, historical, cultural, ethnographic and landscape of Mazarrón wealth through different art forms."

In the section of the first poetry prize went to Alex Erazo Mendoza, while second and third place respectively were Canovas Moreno and Álvaro Erazo Bryan Mendoza.

Also participating in this category Marta Pérez López, Rosa Campillo Rico and Vanessa Mendoza Jenny Roa.

In the form of short story, the winner was Estefanny Erazo Mendoza.

In second position was Stephanie Ortiz Rodriguez and thirdly, Joaquín Linares Losa.

This category also included Francisco Javier Llorca young Martínez, José García Espigares, Rosa Campillo Rico, Enrique Vera and Ana Sáez Amorós Blaya.

In photography Belmar María Isabel Sánchez was first, followed by Ruiz Maria Hernandez who got the second prize and Ángela García Guerrero was done with the third.

They also concurred in this art form Ignacio José Plaza Garcia, Pedro Alonso Ureña, Rosa Maria Moreno Rodríguez, José Ángel García Martínez, Juan Pedro Galvez Zamora, Laura Parra Saez, Vanessa Cascales García, José García Espigares, Jenny Vanessa Mendoza Roa and Karla Yungas Mendoza .

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, congratulated the young winners and all the participants in general because "in this event it is important that our young people can develop their artistic and creative aspects."

To the mayor "initiative, as well as other activities and events that are developing from the Department of Youth, are very important to us as they provide alternative leisure time for our young people who are very interested knowing how to make."
