The "Identities" Loles Gallego and Pedro Alonso "promise" in the town hall (27/01/2014)

Until February 21, the building of the town hall of Mazarrón, located in the Town Hall Square, hosts the exhibition 'Identities' authored by young Mazarron Murcia Pedro Alonso and Gallego Loles artist.

The opening of the exhibition, which took place last Friday, was conducted by the Councillor for Culture, Maria Celeste Soria, and the authors themselves.

Accompanying them, along with family, friends and neighbors were Angel Rodriguez and Isabel Hernández, exhibition curators and representatives of the art collective 'Pinco Palo' belonging to Alonso and Gallego.

Maria Celeste Soria congratulated both artists "because we have a sample fresh and full of energy and vitality" and invited the public "to know the work of this young artist as Mazarron is Pedro Alonso and Gallego Loles, which also warmly welcome this exhibition space. "

Meanwhile, Angel Rodriguez described the artists' great promises of the art "highlighting" the 'footprint pop' works of Loles and portraits and photographs of Pedro, both being an example of the step and identity that leaves the man on the earth. "

Gallego loles thanked the "City of Mazarron and all who have made this exhibition possible," explaining that "my party is based on identity and how it is expressed, with the identity that makes everything special and different" .

Hence, the work of this young Murcia using fingerprints and profiles 'skylines' in various cities at the heart of his work and from that create new vibrant images and colorful force.

His work is in the basement and on the main floor of the building.

Meanwhile, Pedro Alonso explained that "my part is divided into two spaces. Firstly, a comparison between 1913 and today that leads to the wear caused by the passage of time and a photographic exhibition with a tour of the current mining landscape and, second, a more focused using the human figure, in addition to sculpture, painting or drawing part, more innovative as milling through computer numerical control or digital prints in materials like vinyl or methacrylate techniques ".

His works are shown in the basement and in the main room on the ground floor of the building.

The exhibition will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 to 14 pm and on Thursday and Friday from 17 to 20 hours, with the totally free admission.
