The Ballad Plan your financial allowance increases by 8% and will have a new checkpoint and patrol the creeks (31/05/2013)

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and Mazarrón Red Cross president, Carmen Navarro, today signed a cooperation agreement by which launches the Monitoring Plan and Rescue Ballad Playas which starts tomorrow, Saturday June 1, with the opening of 5 posts that will be open during the weekend of June.

These are the Rihuete, La Isla, La Reya, the Castellar and Bolnuevo, with the presence of 10 lifeguards, 4 patterns-responders and rescue four bikes or boat.

The Ballad Plan Monitoring and Rescue in Playas contemplates this year increased its budget by 8% compared to last year, and that will open a new position that lies between the usual two that are installed on the beach of Bolnuevo.

A new feature will also be a mobile patrol moving through the area until Percheles coves, where there are not only large numbers of visitors, but also of people performing sports activities.

"These developments, along with the rest of the plan, involving an investment of 244 994, 80 euros" stated Councilman Civil Protection and Coastal Services, Miguel M ª García, who was also present at the signing by the director of Civil Protection and Municipal Emergency Services (EMS), Pedro Hernandez.

The latter stressed that "has made an extra effort to properly cover the more than 1600 meters from the beach of Bolnuevo and the 10 miles of unspoiled beaches to Percheles we have at our expense."

Red Cross President Mazarrón has made a very positive assessment of the new plan noting that "it is a commitment to address some of the suggestions and demands that citizens have sent us to improve this plan."

These include "those of those who, for example, made hiking or biking along the coves and now will have a patrol very close you can act quickly to any emergency in the area."

The Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, stressed that "last year we already do a significant improvement to expand surveillance plan in early June. This year we maintain this commitment to safety on our beaches and go beyond."

The mayor wanted to emphasize that "while others are facing cuts, thanks to our expanded management Couplet Plan again this year. Both from the perspective of security and the commitment to quality tourism in the municipality."
