Puerto de Mazarrón public refilled for sampling the Entombment (30/03/2013)

This year the Easter parades of Puerto de Mazarrón have received important support for consolidation as one of the most important expressions of these days within our region: the support of the large audience who have luxuriated in the processions of Holy Thursday and Friday in the coastal town.

Yesterday, the procession of the Holy Burial emotion refilled the central streets of the port and received the response of locals and tourists who clothed the brotherhood procession during courtship.

The parade began at the Brotherhood of St Peter pulled back to the street to its owner but as a sign of respect for the death of Jesus, the image of the apostle dressed in black with a black velvet cape embroidered in gold on his robe white.

His brothers were dressed just as the apostle, ie white robe and cape, sash and black hood.

As happened on Holy Thursday the throne of St. Peter was decorated with nets, as the money for flowers was ceded by that brotherhood to charity.

Then marched the Brotherhood of San Juan whose image had changed his clothes on Holy Thursday.

On this occasion, the apostle of Jesus preferred wearing white robe but his cape and sash were red.

The colleagues of this group dressed completely in white, but also wore the red sash as the apostle.

After this, paraded the Confraternity of Christ's Atonement and the Virgin of Los Dolores Street that drew a two-step preceded by a beautiful banner was carried by the council of Celebration and Local Police, Isidro Coy.

The first of these steps was pulled this brotherhood of Christ's forgiveness with the Virgen de la Soledad.

It so happens that the virgin is the same procession on Holy Thursday as Our Lady of Sorrows, a beautiful carving of Sánchez Lozano, which he changes the cloak and hands to become Soledad, who looks wince very characteristic of the sizes of said imager, the Christ of Forgiveness.

In the presidency were the parish priest of San Jose, Justo José Sánchez, the representatives of the four brotherhoods of the Port, the Councillor for Social Policy, Equality, Health, Heritage and Museums, Maria Martinez, and the mayors of the Coastal Services and Public Safety, Michael M ª García, and the Human Resources and Internal Affairs, Carlos Garcia.
