The CHS weighs build two dams against floods in the wadis of mulberry trees and the Reventón (21/02/2013)

The President of the Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS), Miguel Ángel Ródenas, yesterday visited Mazarrón to study possible hydrological correction works that can be performed in the municipality in order to offset the impact of possible floods and flash floods, as occurred last September.

During the visit, Ródenas was accompanied by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and the president of the Community Irrigation Mazarrón "Virgen del Milagro", José Hernández, besides the aforementioned technical agency under the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment.

Two of the most important works that are being considered would build the two dams to be located in the wadis of mulberry trees and the Reventón.
