The Hiking Club "Friends of Nature" will be held on Sunday November 25 a conference mycological and hiking route whose main objective is that participants learn to distinguish which mushrooms and fungi are edible and which are not.
To do this, the event will feature two professional instructors in search of mushrooms and it helps the club "Falco" in the town of Cehegín.
The sessions are priced at 10 euros per person for those who are federated, and 13 euros for participants who are not federal and therefore must also compulsory insurance cover.
The departure is scheduled at 8 am from the sports hall "The Aceña" de Mazarrón and participants should be provided with knife, basket, suitable footwear and food, in addition to their own car.
The sessions will offer tips for collecting mushrooms, be informed of how to perform the best starts to pick mushrooms and fungi in different habitats, will be taught to classify mushrooms and fungi collected and eventually also taught to cook and preserve these foods.
