The UCAM photography experts train (19/10/2012)

Lovers of photography you can improve your skills with the camera thanks to the Diploma Course in Photography Technique and Practice, Training Fotogenio whose presentation took place this morning in the Chapter House of San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) .

Notably, the project has been driven by the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the UCAM, near the town hall of Mazarrón.

During the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor intervened International Relations and Communication at the Catholic University of Murcia, and dean of the School of Communication, Paul Blesa, the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, and Fotogenio director, John S.

Calventus.

From the UCAM explained that the aim of the course is to train participants from a technical perspective and practice with the help of the best professionals nationwide, specializing in the topics to be discussed.

The program consists of 10 modules, which will take place from Friday afternoon until Sunday morning, on the campus of the UCAM and the municipality of Mazarrón.

Color management and printing, and optical sensors; ligthroom; flash hand studio lighting, portrait and model editing, will be among the topics.

The Diploma Course in Photography is aimed at the general public as being a proper title, you do not have a university degree after, although, given the specialization of this, you should have some knowledge of photography.

In addition, during its development, will be made public lectures.

Training Fotogenio demand arises from users who come year after year to meet Fotogenio amateur and professional photographers, organized by the municipality of Mazarrón, and seeking to expand their photographic training through specialized courses.

Fotogenio, held over a weekend of spring, has already held six editions, and has been attended by important figures in the world of photography as Steve McCurry (Magnum Photo) or Kathy Moran (National Geographic) .

The dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the UCAM, Paul Blesa, said that "in our faculty there is a great desire to promote photography, and this course is the leg of the contest Fotogenio training."

For his part, Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo, he asserted that "this course is a step further, is the support of an academic degree for Fotogenio".
