"Peer Gynt" conquest of the school Cañadica (24/09/2012)

On Friday the center and Primary Education "The Cañadica" hosted the concert band music of the Association "Maestro Eugenio Calderon" he repeated the success in school of "The Aceña" with musical tale adapted by Carmen Santoja "Peer Gynt".

A popular work of romantic composer Edvard Grieg who enjoyed around 300 people who did not want to miss this appointment with classical music.

Again, under the baton of director Alejandro Castañeda Martínez, the components of the association showed their quality by their instruments and delighted the audience with parts of this work, well known among lovers of good music, as "Morning", "The cave of the Mountain King", the sad "Asse Death", the "Dance of Anitra", "The Return of Peer Gynt" and "Solveig's Song".

Attendees, both major and small, closely followed this fantastic tale told by Juan José Miñarro Alcazar, a regular contributor to the music school as a teacher of music theory, who returned to fascinate the audience putting voices to the characters in the story.

It was definitely an afternoon to enjoy a family in which children were the real stars, since this activity was directed mainly at all.

The initiative was organized by the Association of Parents of CEIP "The Cañadica" that, from the outset, had the good will of the Musical Association "Maestro Eugenio Calderon" and the school itself.

In this promotion of culture among the younger members participated the Mazarrón Town Council, which has collaborated deploying logistical requirements for this appointment with the music.
