Services Coastal bet for quality services on beaches (19/09/2012)

Councilman Civil Protection and Coastal Services, Michael M ª García, announced this past Monday the objectives of their councilors accompanied by the Mayor of Mazarrón, Ginés Campillo.

Garcia explained that the newly created Coastal Services is divided into three very specific courses of action.

These will be beaches and swimming areas, boardwalks and finally, area creeks.

In all these areas will be cleanliness primary objective, this council coordinating with the Municipal Solid Waste.

On the beaches and bathing areas, the Coastal Services will coordinate the work of aid and rescue, ensure public safety, will deploy the beacons and will be aware of the proper functioning of other services such as chemical toilets or footbaths.

All aimed to achieve, as one of its main objectives, new banners Quality `Q 'to the beaches of Puerto Bahia, La Reya and Bolnuevo.

Also work well for the achievement of most blue flags in other Mazarron coast beaches.

In the promenades special attention to the entrances to the arena, as well as cleaning and maintenance thereof.

Improved security in these places with greater presence of agents is another goal, with better security also recreational areas located at these points.

The renewal of signage to provide better and updated information on the beaches is also one of the short-term objectives of the Coastal Services.

Finally, we will work to enhance Bolnuevo coves with improved access to the same protection as their permits.

One of the newest targets, and in line with this enhancement, will enable a group of lifeguards in this area that will have even a jeep for a faster and easier access to the various coves.

This is a new challenge, not only for safety, but also to promote quality tourism in the municipality.

In regard to Civil Protection, will continue betting and highlighting the importance of Copla Plan, which this year the City has allocated 37,000 euros more than in the previous year and will remain in future budgets.

In fact, another goal is to install a third lifeguard on the beach Bolnuevo.

Another objective is to adapt a vehicle to rescue the local police in this area, which will add a fourth rescue watercraft Red Cross for next summer.
