This summer about 40 children were initiated in angling Fishing Club thanks to Puerto de Mazarrón has taught several courses between July 15 and August 15.
These have revolved around this sport and have tried various topics such as making knots, tricks and assemblies, environmental theory and respect for the environment and recognition of dangerous species living in the sea.
Classes are taught by the fisherman and a member of that club, Ginés Blaya, who has enjoyed the support of Miguel Antonio Reche and Nicholas.
These two girls began to play the sport in 2006 also through these courses and have now become two-class athletes as evidenced by his successes in the past year.
Among them, the first place in the Open II Sportfishing Costa juvenile and child from "Grand Prize Decathlon" achieved by Reche in Cartagena a few days ago.
The courses, which have each a duration of 9 days, ended with the delivery of a medal and a diploma to the participating children.
The Fishing Club Puerto de Mazarrón works with the Department of Sports City of Mazarrón for implementing this sport competitions in the town after the consistory has raised the strong restriction that existed on the beaches when it referred to this sport.
