This morning the Councillor for Sports, Andrew James, accompanied by the Selectmen Magdalena Mendez, Maria Martinez and David Fernandez, have delivered the diplomas of the second municipal swimming course which involved 120 children and youth aged 3 to 15 years.
The ceremony took place at the sports center of Mazarron where, after delivery, the participants have shared a lunch to celebrate the completion of this course.
There are still places for the third swimming which starts next Monday.
To join or request more information can go to the municipal sports pavilion "The Aceña" or by calling 969 59 18 52 during business hours 9 am to 2 pm.
Citizens can also enjoy the swimming pool daily between 15 and 18 hours for the price of 2 euros per day.
In total and are 260 township children and youth who participated this year in the municipal swimming courses.
