Salvage, the Ministry of Development, this morning coordinated the rescue of the 12 occupants of an inflatable, 11 men and a woman, about 36 miles south of Mazarron.
At 1.50 am Marine Rescue received a call on VHF Channel 16 of the tug Princeton reported that several people had a pneumatic boarded the barge 30 meters in length were towing bound for Valencia.
Rescue Centers of Almeria and Cartagena coordinated assistance to immigrants and it moved the boat Salvamar Mimosa, a Civil Guard on board.
For shipping to the 12 immigrants, Mimosa Salvamar waited at dawn to perform operations with maximum security.
