The tourist accommodation in Mazarron partner to defend the interests of the (21/03/2012)

A few days ago it was the Association of Tourist Accommodation "Bay of Mazarron" which has the support of the City to defend the interests of this sector and in order to promote tourism during all months of the year in our town.

The presentation of this association was given by the Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, who was accompanied by the same president, Joaquin Carrasco, and the Councillor for Tourism, Education and Culture, Maria Celeste Soria.

With the presence of representatives from various establishments in the municipality was held last week in the meeting which decided the constitution of the association that aims to defend the interests of the sector and collaborate with other public and private entities in the tourism development in the Bay of Mazarron.

Its goals include the preparation of different actions for the promotion of tourism in the Bay and become the main interlocutor of the government sector.

The association is headquartered in Mazarron and she can join all those establishments that offer accommodation to be found within the Bay of Mazarron.

The meeting proceeded to the signing of the constitutional act of the association and the approval of the statutes of the same.

We proceeded to the election of the Board has been comprised of the following members.

The president of the association is Joaquin Carrasco, apartments "Bellavista", while Vice President Jacinto Garcia has been on the campsite "Los Delfines".

The treasurer position is occupied by Francisco Jose Munoz of the hotel "Playasol" and Javier Masían, the "Balneario de Mazarron - Hotel Sensol" and Jose Antonio Navarro, pension "The Swan" will be the members.

Finally, the position is occupied by the technical secretary of Tourism at Pius Garrido.

The Mayor of Mazarron, Ginés Campillo, coincided with the exposure of the president of the association and explained that "since we came to the City Council are working on some of the needs that have arisen."

To Ginés Campillo "the important thing is to listen and work with all those who make up this sector, or otherwise, to fill the gaps that exist in the municipality either in tourism, cultural, educational, sporting or social."

The Mayor of Mazarron has explained that "this joint work will help us address the current economic situation and its primary objective must be to create a strong city."

In Tourism, "is our duty to Mazarron tourism a reality and not a potential as it has in the past 40 years."
