The neighborhood of San Isidro celebrates the day of its patron (16/05/2011)

This Sunday the residents of San Isidro neighborhood have taken to the streets to celebrate the day of its patron.

The main events of the day were the Mass in the Chapel of San Isidro and the procession through the principal streets of the environment.

The mayor of Mazarrón, Francisco Blaya, accompanied by members of the government team, wanted to be part of this celebration where all citizens have shown their devotion to San Isidro.

A host of leisure activities, holidays and devotees have happened during the last week.

These days the residents of Barrio San Isidro have had the opportunity to enjoy intensely usual programming acts as a parade of the Majorettes and the music of the Banda de Tambores de San José.

Musical performances diverse as Michel Havana, Orchestra Blue Zone, Group Rociero 'Aires de Mazarron' and Musical Magazine were at the street party.

A music have joined other cultural events and participatory as plays, 'Health Center of San Isidro Barrio "and" The starters' by students of charter schools Siglo XXI.

The sport has also formed an important part of this program with a concentration rider caliche activities of men and women, not to mention the extraordinary display of Gym South Bay Championship and the Paddle.
