The Cultural Center of Mazarrón hosted this Friday a staging of music, theater and literature to commemorate the Day of the Book, framed within the library programming of the municipality.
The Musical Association 'Maestro Eugenio Calderón' held an original concert entitled 'Tócame un cuento', in which he had the collaboration of the Academy of Dance and Theater 'De Rosa' and the theater group 'La Marabunta' of the IES Antonio Hellín of Puerto de Mazarrón.
The Band-School put soundtrack to a theatrical performance that moved us to a pirate ship, and reading poems, both charge of the Academy "De Rosa".
The Band of Music of the Association accompanied the staging and narration of stories, uniting literature and music with the interpretation of works set in a Persian market or the historical tragedy of love between Romeo and Juliet, the latter narrated by the theater group "La Marabunta" "
The concert ended the band with the interpretation of the symphonic poem "Pilatus: Mountain of Dragons" and narration by "La Marabunta".
More than 200 people filled an improvised assembly hall in the hall of the Cultural Center of Mazarrón, where a space for interpreters and public was created.
There they enjoyed the magnificent performances of our musicians, actors and actresses with great talent, who, despite not having an appropriate space for this type of performances and the difficulties of the acoustics of the place, carried out a great work of interpretation that earned them recognition and long applause from the public.
