Mazarrón will again be a reference for regional cycling next weekend.
Nearly 200 riders will compete on the roads of the municipality for the ninth edition of the Murcia Bicycle Tour.
There will be three stages to celebrate between Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 April.
So far, and pending the closure of the inscriptions next Thursday, have already confirmed their presence 15 teams from different parts of the country.
The IX Murcia Cyclist Tour will start on Saturday April 7 with a double stage.
In the morning, at 9:30 am, the riders will face a two-lane course of 33 kilometers predominantly flat with start and finish in Mazarrón passing through Gańuelas, La Majada, La Atalaya and Leiva.
In the afternoon there will be a 6,490 km time trial with an exit (4:15 p.m.) in Leiva and arrival in La Majada.
While on Sunday, April 8, the most demanding stage will be celebrated with climbs to the Cedacero and La Cuesta highs of the adjoining municipal districts of Mazarrón.
The route of this stage will complete almost 100 kilometers.
The departure will take place at 9:00.
