The Carnival of Mazarrón is gaining with the years and this Sunday it was possible to see in the Avenue of the Constitution the growth that is experiencing a party that reunited in its main parade a total of 17 participating clubs.
Numerous public occupied chairs and bleachers to witness the Carnival show in all its nuances.
They opened the Los Salaitos parade to give way to Terpsícore Dance Studio, Comparsa Salsalá, Comparsa Mármara, De Rosa, Amazon River, Caño del Molino, La Cañadica, El Salitre, South Bay Titans, Los Guiris and their friends, Playas de Percheles, Ambarela, Ana Ruiz Dance, El Tolín, Peña La Atalaya and Las Gregorias.
Later, in the Day Tent installed in the Avenida de la Constitución, the expected awards ceremony took place.
Beaches of Percheles managed to get the first prize, endowed with 1,500 euros, the second prize, endowed with 1,200 euros for Ambarela, the third prize for Salsalá with 900 euros, Ana Ruiz won the fourth prize with 600 euros and South Bay Titans He won the fifth prize worth 300 euros.
The delivery was made by the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and by the councilman of Celebrations, Patricio Sánchez.
As for the diplomas, Salsalá got the special mention for the spectacularity and originality, Terpsícore obtained the mention for the best choreography, the diploma for the best headdress was for La Cañadica, the one for the most elegant comparsa for Playas de Percheles and the one for the colorful to Salsalá.
The Mazarrón Carnival lasts one more week.
Next Sunday there will be a parade of visiting clubs with the participation of 8 comparsas from different parts of the Region, plus the first five award-winning venues and the two clubs that won the first prize in the children's parade.
