About 75 children attend these days to the Christmas Schools that take place in Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón.
Alicia Barquero, general director of Women and Equal Opportunities, visited this Tuesday, in the company of the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, the activity that takes place in the CEIP Francisco Caparrós and that is also provided at the CEIP Bahía de Puerto de Mazarrón.
The program has a cost of 11,073 euros and is subsidized by the Ministry of Family and Equality of Opportunities of the Region of Murcia, through the European Social Fund, for the provision of services to reconcile work and family life.
The activity, presented this Wednesday by the Councilor for Social Policy, Laura Ortiz, has a cost of 112E073 euros and is subsidized by the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities of the Region of Murcia, through the European Social Fund, for the benefit of conciliation services for work and family life.
The Christmas Schools are aimed at children from 3 to 12 years old, whose parents are registered in the municipality and are working (both) or receiving formal training from the SEF.
A total of 75 places were offered and the service hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., during the working days of the school holiday period.
During these weeks the children work playful aspects related to their training.
Alicia Jiménez has highlighted the role of family respite that is the activity, as well as the facilities offered to reconcile the professional life of parents.
The general director of Family, Alicia Barquero, has remembered that this program is born adhered to the decree approved by the regional government in favor of the conciliation.
