Mazarrón hosts until January 6 a varied agenda of activities ranging from crafts workshops and storytelling in municipal libraries, to cantes and Easter masses in the districts and without forgetting traditional appointments such as the visit of Santa Claus on 24 December to the Town Hall Square of Mazarrón (from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.) and Plaza Toneleros de Puerto de Mazarrón (from 12:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) or the Cabalgata de Reyes Magos in Puerto and Mazarrón the afternoon from January 5 with arrival at the fishing pier at 4:00 p.m.
Before, on Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 January, the Royal Mailmen will collect the letters of all the children, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Plaza Toneleros de Puerto de Mazarrón and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Town Hall Square.
Repeat this year, the Mañana Vieja, a novelty introduced in 2016. Children will be able to dismiss the year with 12 gummies at 12 o'clock in the morning at the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, accompanied by a children's play show.
On January 6, in Cañada de Gallego, there will be a parade with live crib and the performance of the Las Balsicas crew.
The theater, present in the cultural calendar of the year in Mazarrón, does not fail in this appointment and there will be two performances: on Wednesday, December 27 in the social room of Leiva will be interpreted "The judge of divorces" and the Day of Kings In La Majada, the play "The Fiery Mayor" will be staged by the Canalejas group.
Another classic of recent years is the Ruta del Belén, which is in its third edition and in which eight nativity scenes from Mazarrón and Puerto participate.
