The British community complied with the tradition on the day of remembrance (13/11/2017)

November 11 is a designated date for countries with British roots.

It is the day on which commemorates the members of the Armed Forces who died in the performance of their duty.

It has been celebrated since the First World War at 11 a.m. on the 11th of 11th month, at which time the armistice of that warlike conflict took place in 1918.

One more year the Garden of Memory of Camposol hosted this day for the memory of the British community resident in the municipality.

Several members of the municipal corporation attended an event during which the traditional floral offering took place and in which songs were sung in honor of the deceased.

Not forgetting the ever present poppy as the main symbol that has its origin in the poem by Jon McCrae entitled "In the Flemish fields" in which he made mention of the poppies that sprouted in the graves of soldiers who had died in the Great War .
