More than 100 students of fourth year of the Degree of Labor Relations and Human Resources of the Faculty of Labor Sciences of the University of Murcia attend this Thursday the 9th Conference on Local Economies of the Region of Murcia organized by the University of Murcia and the Observatory for Rural, Local and Employment Development.
The mayor, Alicia Jiménez, has opened a meeting that has analyzed the role played by local action groups such as Campoder or Galpemur.
The conference included a presentation by the Local Development Agency, an approach to intensive agriculture and the visit to the warehouses that Grupo Paloma has in Mazarrón.
Students and teachers have also focused on the novelty of the Maritime and Fisheries Development Groups, and they have done so in the House of the Sea of â€‹â€‹Puerto de Mazarrón, very close to one of the most productive fishermen's the entire Region of Murcia.
In this meeting was also the Councilor for Local Development of the City of Mazarrón, María Ángeles Román, who has supported the activity that is carried out in the area of â€‹â€‹boosting the local economy from its Department.
