The Municipality of Mazarrón and the School of Sail Grimpola carry out throughout this course the Nautical Sports Education Program "Hallelujah All to the Sea!"
Which finances the consistory with the aim of promoting sports practice, respect for the environment and training future generations in their own activities that are part of the socio-economic profile of the municipality.
The program combines theoretical classes in the classrooms with practical days in the waters of the bay.
It is aimed at 800 schoolchildren of 6th grade and 4th grade in all schools in the municipality.
The activity is integrated as a didactic unit within the subject of Physical Education.
The project began with the training of teachers of the centers in the School of Sail.
Then the monitors go to schools and institutes where they carry out a theoretical class in which they provide nautical material to instruct students.
Already in a third phase, the students enjoy two practical days in the water.
Finally the teachers and the monitors will evaluate the students.
