AUGC supports the Local Police of Mazarrón in their demands (22/03/2017)

AUGC supports the comrades of the Local Police of Mazarrón in their demands for the non payment of the extra hours that has taken to them to make a camping in the doors of the City council.

Of course our colleagues have fulfilled the obligations that they have ordered, making an effort with the extra hours made, it does not seem that it is of receipt that once the work has been done this is not paid immediately by the City.

Civil guards know what it is that they play with your working conditions and your pay, so we identify with them and we want to contribute a small amount of sand with our support.

In addition, by shifting civil guards to carry out the work of local police, the claims of these policemen are seriously damaged.

AUGC ANNOUNCES THE USE OF CIVIL GUARDS FOR THE CARNIVAL IN THE ABSENCE OF LOCAL POLICE

But this situation is also seriously affecting public safety in the municipality of Mazarrón and even in nearby municipalities such as Alhama de Murcia .

Thus in the past Carnival of February was apparently ordered by the Government Delegate that the development of the same was covered by the Civil Guard in the absence of sufficient local police.

Apparently due to the lack of local police, the City Council asked the Government Delegate for a reinforcement of civil guards in public order tasks of the Carnival parade, which corresponds to the Local Police.

The Civil Guard device included the two citizen security patrols of the Main Post of Mazarrón and a patrol more of citizen security of the Main Post of Alhama de Murcia.

So during the celebration of Carnival both Mazarrón and Alhama de Murcia were left without patrols to attend to the security of the citizen and in the case of the first also without local police.

AUGC REQUESTS THAT THE SITUATION DOES NOT BE REPEATED IN THE HOLY WEEK.

In AUGC we fear that this situation is repeated in Easter and the already depleted templates of the Civil Guard posts also have to deal with the public order of religious processions due to the absence of local police.

All this would have a negative impact on the security of Mazarrón and neighboring towns, because civil guards are in other tasks that do not correspond to him.

We will ask the Government Delegate not to authorize the Civil Guard, to urge the City Council to have a Local Police device for the Holy Week processions and, above all, that a satisfactory agreement be reached.
