The new office of the Tax Agency in Mazarrón will handle more than 67,000 receipts (17/03/2017)

Citizens may defer payment of their receipts up to 12 months without interest

Mazarrón has a new office of the Tax Agency where anyone who lives in the municipality can carry out their taxation without having to leave the town.

This office, which is expected to process more than 67,000 receipts per year, joins the network of 29 venues that currently has the Regional Tax Agency of Murcia (ATRM) distributed throughout the region and in which a service is provided Integral tax.

Therefore, any neighbor of Mazarrón can also make their efforts in any of the offices of the ATRM in the same way that would do in his municipality.

This means adding greater facilities for those who, for example, work outside Mazarrón and have to go to make a management to any office of the ATRM.

Likewise, the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, through the ATRM, has an agreement with the City of Mazarrón through which they receive a monthly advance of 90 percent of the collection, with which it has liquidity to provide its services.

Thus, during this year, the Consistory will receive 685,000 euros a month in advance.

In addition, taxpayers are provided with a personalized plan that allows them to postpone payments on their receipts for up to 12 months without interest.

The Minister of Finance and Public Administration, Andrés Carrillo, today visited the new office accompanied by the mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez, where he stressed that "we improve the service to citizens, as it achieves greater efficiency and efficiency in tax management and Allows an economic saving for the City Council ".

With the adhesion to the agreement, the City gives the integral management of the local tributes.

In addition, the Consistory delegates to the ATRM the management, liquidation, inspection and collection in a voluntary and executive period of the taxes and other revenues of public law whose ownership corresponds to the City, such as receipts from the Property Tax (IBI), Tax On Economic Activities (IAE), the Vehicle Tax on Mechanical Traction (IVTM) and the Tax on Increasing the Value of Urban Land (IIVTNU), commonly known as surplus value.
