The Carnival of Mazarrón already has new mus @ s.
The Municipal Pavilion of La Aceña has hosted this Friday the Musa Election Gala 2017 Carnival. This event has served to open the first of the two large carnival weekends in the municipality.
María Hernández and Nuria Fernández, muses of youth and children of 2016 already have successors.
The gala confirmed the election of Ana Cristina Hernández, of the Peña La Cañadica, as new youth muse of the carnival.
While Marina Lardín, de Rosa, was elected child muse.
Christian Catevilla, from Peña El Tolín, is the children's muse and Juan Antonio García, from Peña La Cañadica, the youthful muse.
Another of the most anticipated moments of the night was the appointment of the Carnival of the Year figure, which this time fell to the figure of Maria Dolores Sánchez Blaya, municipal official and member of the Local Board of the Spanish Association against Cancer.
Four other child candidates defended their clubs on a night that served to open appetite for the main parades.
Anayira Vera de la Peña El Tolín, Paula Morales from Caño del Molino, Paola Alcalá from El Salitre and Amaia Hernández from the San Isidro neighborhood wore and danced on the stage to the expectation of the audience attending the gala.
The mayor of Mazarrón, Alicia Jiménez and the Councilor of Celebrations, Patricio Sánchez, presented the respective awards and recognitions.
The mayor highlighted the level that has been acquiring the Mazarrón carnival and congratulated all the clubs for the work and involvement they show.
