310 school children from the ten municipal schools have participated in a new edition of the Villancicos Contest organized by the Department of Libraries of the City of Mazarrón.
The Cultural Center has once again housed this traditional activity that transports the Christmas spirit to parents, teachers and those responsible for each school.
Alicia Jiménez, Mayor of Mazarrón and Patricio Sánchez, Councilor for Education and Libraries, have attended the musical performances performed by different classes of Primary schools of the municipality.
The contest opened the fifth and sixth grade students of the school of San Antonio de Cañada de Gallego with the interpretation of the carol "Made with your dreams".
The schoolchildren also from the fifth year of the concerted center of the 21st Century represented "La mule".
Third A and B of the school Francisco Caparrós interpreted "Duerme Jesusito".
The students of the Bay of Puerto de Mazarrón school sang "Made with your dreams".
While students from the fourth year of La Aceña interpreted a version of "White Christmas".
The students of the room of "La Cañadica" closed the day of Tuesday with the performance in English titled "Deck The Halls".
On Wednesday, December 15 continued the students of fifth of the Manuela Romero School of Puerto de Mazarrón with "Christmas is already here".
Children of 5 years of the Miguel Delibes of Puerto de Mazarrón interpreted "Bethlehem in the bottom of the sea".
Third graders from the school Ginés García represented "We will carry our hands to the portal" and the school Infanta Leonor closed the contest with the performance of the second year students who interpreted "My best gift is you".
At the end of the proceedings, the mayor, Alicia Sánchez and the Councilor for Education, Patricio Sánchez, have delivered a gift and a diploma to each participating student and a lot of books for the library of each educational center.
