IV musical summers Villa de Mazarrón 2016 - Music band Molina de Segura (03/08/2016)

Ends with great public success the concert series of bands 'IV Musical Summers - Villa de Mazarrón 2016', one of the cultural events of the summer nights in Puerto de Mazarrón that this year has enjoyed performances by bands Sewer music, Mazarrón and Molina de Segura.

On Sunday July 31, the band of the Murcian municipality of Molina de Segura, directed by Francisco Javier Paternáin Peńarrubia, dismissed the 'IV Musical Summers - Villa de Mazarrón 2016' with a wonderful concert witnessed around five hundred people .

Mr. Paternáin, director of the band of Molina de Segura, presented to the public each of the pieces to interpret, showing in an educational and entertaining curious aspects about them.

The guest band began the concert with 'Nerva', one of the best known of which are interpreted in the bullrings pasodobles, although its origin was a tribute to its author, Manuel Rojas Tirado, his hometown, Nerva, in Huelva province.

He continued with 'Phoenix' small band legend, written by Pere Sanz Alcover.

The author called his work Phoenix, as the ( 'musical') mythological bird that rises from the ashes every 500 years, a symbol of rebirth ( 'Renaixement') and immortality, a nod who had commissioned the piece Societat Musical Renaixement Vinalesa (Valencia).

He followed with 'Out of Africa', the soundtrack of the English composer John Barry that evokes the landscapes of Africa.

Then American music Robert W. Smith introduced us in the storm with 'Into The Sorm' to end the first half with 'Adios Nonino', the most famous tango of Piazzolla symphonic written after the death of his father.

The second half began with the epic sounds of '1942: Conquest of Paradise' by Vangelis (arranged by JG Mortimer), followed by the beautiful melodies of 'The Mission', the Italian Ennio Morricone, author of more than five hundred soundtracks, including those included in the piece 'Moment for Morricone' with which the band of Molina de Segura ended a nice concert, splendidly developed, in which there was also music for the kids with a selection of ' the jungle book ', the work of Sherman-Sherma / arranged by Marcel Peeters.

The excellent sound of the band of Molina de Segura was rewarded with prolonged applause from the large audience present.

Councillor for Culture, Pedro Martínez Pagán, who has attended all concerts in the series, gave the president of the association 'Band of Molina de Segura' a replica Phoenician ship, the symbol chosen to give to the bands participants in these meetings;

and the president of the Musical Association "Master Eugenio Calderón 'Ureńa Francisca Sanchez, placed on the flag of the guest band bowtie with the slogan' IV Musical Summers - Villa de Mazarrón 2016 '.

With this concert is closed the fourth edition of the Musical Summers, a series of concerts of bands outdoor began his career in 2013, organized jointly by the Department of Culture of the City of Mazarrón and Musical Association "Master Eugenio Calderón ' .

Throughout these four summers in Puerto de Mazarrón have acted altruistically nine bands, besides the band of Mazarrón, in a clear commitment to the dissemination of music, showing the excellent work carried musical associations and their bands.
