The Youth Council of the City of Mazarrón has organized the second edition of Interrecreos program, an activity that has developed in the recreations of IES Antonio Hellín of Puerto de Mazarrón between early April and late May.
It involved the completion of five sporting events held in pairs (basketball, football, handball, volleyball and racquetball) and three intellectual tests (math, language and knowledge of the environment) that have been carried out individually.
Patricio Sanchez, Councillor for Youth Wednesday delivered the diplomas to the winners of the championship in which more than 40 students.
In male category, first place went to Juan David Gutierrez and female category the winner was Elena Tempering.
Students Pablo Valero, Mohamed Abidi, Sofia and Sara Rendon Rendon completed the second and third places in both categories.
First place was awarded a gift voucher of 120 euros and the second and third places with another check of 70 and 40 euros respectively.
It has also been awarded the collaboration of referees championship in this second edition recognizing the work done by Camila Gutiérrez.
The presentation of diplomas was attended by Francisco Saez, coach of the Youth Council who emphasized that this is a pioneering and unique in the region of Murcia initiative.
The mayor of Youth, Patricio Sanchez, encouraged other institutes of the municipality to participate in future editions.
